first off, i would just like to clarify that i'm not a big fan of ramen, noodles, soups, or anything that is good to eat while it's still hot. my tounge is really really sensitive and i often get it burned whenever i eat super hot foods.
my mom wants to eat hot soup with noodles on it. and since everybody was a bit lazy to cook, we decided to drop by the mall to have our dinner there. this retaurant called 'ajisen ramen' caught my mom's attention. she thinks its the best restaurant to quench her cravings that moment. with a doubt that i'll not enjoy their food, i agreed to just eat there with my family and just order a food that will fill my empty stomach.
again, as a new customers for that restaurant, we spent a lot of time absorbing and understanding their menu. it's a good thing that there's a waitress helping us out with the menu. she explained the ingredients of the food and recommended some of their must-try's.
i was a bit hopeless because the first three pages of their menu showed nothing but hot soups with noodles on it. on the 4th page though i cheered up a bit because it showed their rice meals. so i decided to order tonkatsu with curry sauce.
service was a bit slow but i completely understood since it was dinner time. customers were beginning to show up and orders were beginning to pile up.

for starters, we ordered sashimi. nothing special about it but i enjoyed it a lot since it was so long ago when i ate sashimi. my rice meal (tonkatsu with curry sauce) was the second one to arrive. again, there's nothing special about it. the tonkatsu was just a piece of pork dipped into bread crumbs and was dipped fried on a very hot cooking oil. if you will eat it as it is (without any sauce), it would be tasteless. tonkatsu is the kind of food that is very much dependent on its sauce. so the sauce must really stand out. unfortunately, their curry sauce was nothing compared to the tonkatsu sauce of tokyo tokyo. i didn't enjoyed the food i ate.
prices are not reasonable. its a bit expensive for a little amount of tasteless food. didn't enjoyed it but i think my family did.
it still goes down to the person whom you with. in my case, i didn't enjoyed the food but i enjoyed the time i had with my family.
