papang's 61st birthday
 we decided to celerate papang's birthday at Gumbo Restaurant in Robinson's Malate. we went at the restaurant at around 7pm. It's a good thing there's an unoccupied table inside the resto. Erica was the one who ordered our food since she knows the waiter in-charge (the waiter was erica's sort-of boss when both of them were still working at Burgoo Mall of Asia). I can really say Erica has a high standard in choosing food and she knows what are the delicious ones from the not so delicious ones. She ordered a large plate of original flavoured steak, ceasar's salad and buffalo wings (which was given to us for free since we ordered two main entree), ribs with fries, and bottomeless drinks. All was superb and a plus 5 stars should be given to those foods. i was so star-strucked with the original flavoured steak that I was planning to eat it all. Unfortunately, I can't because it's big and it's good for two persons. After we ate our delicious meals, the waiters of the restaurant (together with the manager) sang a happy birthday song to papang and they gave him a free scoop of ice cream with a candle on it as a gift. Erica's gift to papang was a new notebook with a pen on it to serve as his diary so he could write many stuff there. I, on the otherhand, gave him a bench perfume and handkerchief. We had a great time celebrating papang's birthday and I promised myself to eat again at Gumbo but with my bhebhe this time. ;)
