NOTE: this was posted after a careful consideration of what might happen. it all started in a simple request that my previous employer can't give me. everything stated here are facts and not false accusations. i can prove it! i have documents (contract, payslips, etc.) that can give for evidence. and i wasn't the only one who experienced this. i know many people who also experienced this trauma but i'm only one of the few people who have guts to let this all out. if someone from the company settle and give me my ITR and back pay NICELY, then i'll erase this entry. until then, this will remain on my blog.
im having problems with this company...
you see i was employed in a company somewhere in the north. i didn't have problems with them (even though they don't treat their employees well) never complaint, and tried to understand them even if others are beginning to say some bad things about them.
that is not so me... when i don't want something in particular to a place, i don't stay there, i go away, and never come back. but i just can't leave that previous employer of mine because i'm under contract with a P25,000 one year training bond. i choose to stay and sacrifice.. i waited till i reach my one year to resign so they'll not charge me the so-called P 25,000 training bond. that's the deal! that's my contract with them. and that's what i did!
i have to give them at least 30 days notice for them to have ample time to look for a replacement. that's also included on my contract. and that's what i did. i did everything by the book. but they were the ones who didn't follow their own rules. i played their rules but they broke their own rules! what's up with that? they refuse to accept my resignation. this is what the admin representative told me "hindi namin tatanggapin yung resignation mo kasi sabay sabay kayong nag reresign eh. paisa isa lang dapat. kung pwde after four months mo na lang ulit ibigay yan. doon for sure, tatanggapin na namin yan para ma-evaluate."
what am i? dumb? i'm not asking permission to resign. i'am informing you that i'am resigning! don't you know our laws? that's my right! is it my fault if your employees keep on leaving you? is it my fault that my one year contract ends in a day where everybody wants to resign in your company? i can't stay there for four months. and what did you say? evaluate? you don't have to evaluate anything! our law didn't say that the company have to evaluate first the resignation letter of their employees. that's totally BS! i wanna leave that place immediately...
i sought help from our family lawyer and he advice me the things i have to do. so anyway, to make the long story short, they eventually let me go.
here's the thing...
i decided to call my previous employer after two months i resigned from them and asked for a copy of my ITR (because i don't wanna be sued by BIR or something), and my back pay. i tried to send them e-mail twice and call them almost everyday but the person that i have to talk to (admin representative) was either in a meeting or absent or not yet in the office. i have a bad feeling that he's hiding that's why he doesn't wanna talk to me. the only person that answers my call is the security guard (who i doubt, understand my call's agenda). the security guard always tells me "mam nasa finance na po" or "mam, di pa daw po binibigay ng finance". but my question is, why is the admin representative not talking to me? why isn't he accepting my calls? when i force the guard to give the phone to the admin representative, he hangs up the phone, which pisses me off more.
i don't wanna make a big deal out of this. but the mere fact that the admin representative doesn't wanna take my call is fishy enough to make me mad. the things that i'am requesting them is my right and i own them. the ITR i'm requesting is a document i need to file at BIR. the back pay is my hard earned money. why can't they just give it to me? those were not their possession. it's mine to keep...
or on second thought, do they really issue an ITR for their employees? do they really pay their taxes and our taxes as well? they deduct taxes from our monthly salary (i can prove that with my pay slips) but they can't provide an ITR? what kind of company are you?
as i've said, i don't wanna make a big deal out of this. all i want is my ITR and back pay. that's all. if you have just gave it to me nicely, then this blog entry wouldn't be here. isn't it too much to ask? i already tried to talk to these guys politely and patiently. but enough is enough. i'm so fed up already.

Oh fudge sticks and sticker galore!
Welcome to the world of the frustrated resigned employees!
If this was middle earth, 'they' would have been Mordor and 'we' would have been the white elves turned into orcs who want to be turned back to white elves again.
This battle has been long running before we entered the war zone and even as we escape, more employees have to continue suffering and even from afar, we still suffer from the battle wounds. -sigh-
You don't follow rules, they fax you over. You follow rules, you still get faxed. They love fax did you not notice? hahaha -coughs- errr...
I hope karma bites them back 10x times over.
Actually the karma has already started... Bwahahahah!!!
What you said is true and I feel for you. May be you should call "Imbestigador" to check out the company and see what they say about it. ;)
You may also ask help from BITAG. He's way more intimidating and tougher than Mike Enriquez. Maybe he'll scare the hell out of that evil company owner!
That company might be satan's branch of hell. He can pass his greediness to his son and grand kids.
