i really wanted to go to skul (kahit walang klase) kasi pupunta ang mojofly sa skul to perform some of their songs. una nga hesistant ako pumunta kasi dko alam kung wat time cla pupunta. thanks to crystal and joey of magic 89.9 ayun nalaman ko yung tym. then, i was at skul at around 3:30 kasi magkikita din kami ni em kasi hiniram ko yung installer niya ng XP. pagka swipe ko ng id gulat ako kasi dami tao sa lobby plus mei bandang nag pperform. akala ko nga mojofly na. eh mga skulmeyts ko plang pala. so inasikaso ko muna lahat ng dapat asikasuhin (ojt technical adviser, panelists, defense, etc.) at exactly 4pm nag cmula na yung main event kasi nakita ko na si joey and miles. kaya bumaba na ako and pumunta na sa lobby. ang kukulet ng mga skulmeyts ko pero masaya. harhar... (mga 5 years at 6 years na sa college amp!) unang bandang nag perform is join the club. lupet nga ng tugtugan nila eh. first time ko plang cla narinig pero na asteegan agad ako. kaya bbli na me cd nila (dont buy pirated cds daw!) they performed 4 songs (i think) including their first single entitled "lunes". pinoy rock rules!!! after nila mojofly na. una, mei space pa between the audience and the band. eh si loungie pinalapit pa mga tao kaya ayun... they were performing na tipong katabi at kaharap na lng nila face-to-face ang mga audience. bait nila no?! ang kkyut pa! buti na lang tlaga pumunta ako sa skul. thanks sa mga SC officers. ang ggaling niyo! elib ako sobra! ang ssipag niyo pa sa mga events. sa panahon na nag stay ako sa mapua, kayo lang ang na feel kong worthy to be SC officers. yung mga previous batches... nevermind na lang!!! nyweiz, sana maulit yun and sana makapunta pa din ako kahit graduate na ako. thanks ulit! upgrade ng pc. laki na ng memory
usapan namin ni falconeri we will meet up at around 4:30 pm. eh ang alien nakalimutang bar exams nga pala ngayon at trafik sa la salle. kaya ayun LATE! buti na lang bait si falconeri. he waited for me there patiently. nyweiz moving ahead, we decided to meet up at penshoppe 2nd floor. nasa tabi ko na pala nag ttext pa. sus kakatuwa... tapos ayun bumili na kami ng 40gb hard disk at 250mb ram. after that we decided to eat at wendys. well originally gusto ko sanang kumain sa mcdo coz i love their french fries. eh dami tao kaya ayun... wendy's na lang kami. ang tahimik talaga ni falconeri. ang hilig niya sa "bahala ka", "kahit saan", "kahit ano". haaay... pero ok lang... we manage to get along. after namin kumain punta na kami dito sa bahay para maset-up na niya. nung kinakabit na niya, hingian daw ba ako ng cable para dun sa hard disk. harhar... sabi ng alien "huh?! ano yun?" pano mangmang sa computers. naturingang I.T ang course eh... sensya na... eh ayun awa ng dyos wala ako nun at kelangan ko pa bumili. so baka balik na lang ako sa sm manila or baka sa rob na lang to buy that. tapos nakigulo pa cla cess, ate lhen, april, at marion sa bahay. si cess soooper doooper kulit. nakakahiya tuloy kay falconeri. pero cool naman siya. ayus lang sa kanya. after na maayos na yung pc hinatid ko na si falconeri sa taft. haaay naku... kahit naglalakad kami tahimik pa din. dpa din masyadong nag kkwento. sana one of these days maging madaldal na siya pag nag usap kami (^_^)
twilight run gig at mag:net cafe
we (jeff, my father, cess, and ate len) arrived at the venue at around 8:30 pm. akala nga namin late na kami kasi ang call time ng mga banda is 8pm. eh pano ang hirap sumakay sa ust. nyweiz, the show started at exactly 9:30 pm. but before that, nagkaron muna ng draw lots as to what band goes first. the first band was da saints (btw, their vocalist has a really good voice. medyo kahawig ng boses niya yung boses nung used to be male vocalist namin). then next band was kami (TWILIGHT RUN). we performed five songs and those are the following:
---> half time (compo)
---> heart (compo ulit)
---> drive (popularized by incubus)
---> ironic (popularized by alanis morisette)
---> hudas (popularized by bamboo)
the venue was jammed packed by people (kasi maliit lang yung venue. harhar...) pero asteeeg. i haven't got the chance to finish the gig coz i still have classes tomorrow morning. but then again for chure mga asteeging banda yung naka line-up. another comment: pink salad days' lead guitarist is so cool. galeng niya! nyweiz although mahina ang mic at medyo nagkalat ang iba, naging successful naman siya. sana maulit yung mga ganitong klaseng gig.
we left the venue at around 11:00 and reached home at around 11:45pm. all were exhausted pero lahat asteeegin! \m/
